So would my calculations have been correct? And what about the 12.1 caveat?
What signifigance does it play?

Jason,
This has been discussed in previous thread. The author used packet size of
10000 bytes, of the lab. If they dont specify you can use whatever number
you want. Again, for clarification ask the proctor.
