Think of it more generally than these two protocols. There's danger 
in re-exporting any routes learned externally, because there is 
always a risk that you will export them to the routing domain that 
created them.  That domain, however, will see them as originated by 
your domain, so what effectively is a split horizon rule gets 
bypassed.
This sort of loop prevention is also why intra-area routes are always 
preferred over inter-area routes in OSPF/ISIS.
