Ken,

I think both will work and wont be an issue as long as u go with the
requirements.I prefer the first one.

But when using BGP and route-maps for route-filtering like this use the
Extened ACL for cases like permit the summary and some specifics or other
way round. May be in this case it the router has just a /16 and not
others ELSE it wont work with std ACLs.

Correct me if needed.
