Normally if security is at all an issue I would recommend a secure modem such as a CDI modem. But if security is not a big deal for you then modems such as microcom or multitech should be a good fit.

I apologize for the off-topic post, but does anyone know what Cisco's preferred modem(s) is/are? I'm purchasing modems for a router and Pix 501 and want to get the most reliable and compatible one for around 70.00 US.
Anything but USR's. I always have problems with those.
