ISIS

The default behavior of ISIS is L1/L2 routers unless one specifically changes
to either L1 or L2 only.

If router A is adjacent to router B through Ethernet 0, as well as adjacent to
router C through Serial Interface.

The requirement is that router A establishes a L1 adjacency with router B, and
L2 with router C. This can easily be done via interface level command isis
circuit type.

The question is,

Will router A still be considered L1/L2 router since it is maintaining both
level of adjancies with router B and router C respectively but not L1/L2 with
both routers on the same interface.

Regards,
