Lab exam edge (was boot camp again)

I am glad you are looking forward to it. It is good to enjoy the process,
and you will enjoy the edge you have on the day you pass.

I don't know if any other folks have experienced this, but
I wonder if I will ever have that edge that I had going into the Lab Exam on
the day I passed (unless I go for another CCIE track, which would make my
wife very unhappy). I know more now. Teaching material makes you learn it
better. But I am not nearly as sharp and quick as I was on the day I
passed.

Of course, it could be that I am on a diet where I have very little caffeine
and not many carbohydrates. I am becoming fit and trim, but at the expense
of a quick wit. I strongly recommend coffee or tea and a good breakfast
with protein, fat and carbs on the morning of the CCIE Lab.

Good luck!
