Ahmed,

They are both perfect answers given your requirements. Any DSCP value between 40-47 are considered IP Precedence 5 when using IP Precedence classification. If this were the actual exam, I would ask the proctor if I was to set any value for the drop-bits in the DSCP value. Or another way of asking it is if they entire TOS byte must be identical when using DSCP as when using IP Precedence 5. The answers to these questions will indicate which one will satisfy the given requirements.

HTH,
Ken

If the task states use the DSCP value equivalent to IP Precedence 5.

        per DQOS book,

        IP precedence values

        000 0
        001 CS1
        010 CS2
        011 CS3
        100 CS4
        101 CS5
        110 CS6
        111 CS7

So would I chose CS7 or EF?

        Regards,
