Georg,
Please check your second scenario again. Eigrp will not allow you manually summarize a /8 route to a /24 route, independent of whether or not auto-summary is enabled.
If you've managed to successfully implement this, can you post your full configurations and "show ip eigrp topology" and "show ip route" from both sides?
Thanks!
Ken

Hello Kenneth,
I did lab this, here is what I did:
R1
interface loopback0
ip address 1.1.1.1 255.255.255.0
!
router eigrp 1
network 1.0.0.0
network 135.13.0.0
no auto-summary
On R2, this yields only the 1.0.0.0/24 route, or the 1.1.1.0 subnet, in the
routing table as well as in the topology table.
And when I configure:
R1
interface loopback0
ip address 1.1.1.1 255.255.255.0
!
interface ethernet0/0
ip address 135.13.20.1 255.255.255.252
ip summary-address eigrp 1 1.1.1.0 255.255.255.0
!
router eigrp 1
aiuto-summary
network 1.0.0.0
network 135.13.0.0
eigrp stub connected
on R2, this still yields only the 1.1.1.0/24 route, both in the routing
table and the topology table.
Regards,
Georg
