Hi guys,

Here's my config:

interface Serial1/0
 no ip address
 encapsulation frame-relay
 no frame-relay inverse-arp
!
interface Serial1/0.302 point-to-point
 ip address 148.6.0.3 255.255.255.0
 frame-relay interface-dlci 302

***********************************************

Before I configured encap frame-relay, I had shut down the interface. Then I
configured the above.

After I re-enabled the interface, here's what I got:

Rack1R3#sh fram map
Serial1/0 (up): ip 0.0.0.0 dlci 305(0x131,0x4C10)
              broadcast,
              CISCO, status defined, inactive
Serial1/0 (up): ip 0.0.0.0 dlci 304(0x130,0x4C00)
              broadcast,
              CISCO, status defined, active
Serial1/0 (up): ip 0.0.0.0 dlci 301(0x12D,0x48D0)
              broadcast,
              CISCO, status defined, active
Serial1/0.302 (up): point-to-point dlci, dlci 302(0x12E,0x48E0), broadcast
          status defined, active

Why is this happening and what can I do to prevent this from happening?

After I reload the router, those mappings to 0.0.0.0 are gone, but I hate to
have to reload the router to get rid of them.

Might this have something to do with the release of IOS I'm using?

The release is:

Rack1R3#sh ver
Cisco Internetwork Operating System Software
IOS (tm) C2600 Software (C2600-J1S3-M), Version 12.2(15)T5, RELEASE SOFTWARE
(f
c1)

Thanks for any feedback, Tim
