Quicky scenario.
 
No main interfaces on hub router, no subinterfaces on spokes. 
 
Set up IS-IS between main and one of the spokes (which is is a
point-to-point).
 
Now, you will get a network type mismatch between a multipoint (the main)
and a ptp (the sub).
 
I have seen two methods on how to fix this.
 
First, create a tunnel between the hub and spoke. Fine, a little clunky, but
it works.
 
Second, say 'screw it' and make the ptp sub on the hub into a multipoint and
just connect normally.
 
Now, both will work.
 
Which one would you recommend, or is there a third method my slowly
shrinking brain hasn't thought of?
