I am looking into a Cisco IDS solution for a customer. I am familiar with the 42XX IDS appliances. Does anyone have any experience with the IDS module for routers (NM-CIDS-K9) ? Is it running the same software as the 42XX ?? Does it take the same signature updates ?

Any insight would be most helpful
