Police CIR Values

Hello Group

Prior to 12.2T the values calculated for Burst and Extended Burst were :

normal burst = configured rate * (1 byte)/(8 bits) * 1.5 seconds
extended burst = 2 * normal burst

Does this apply to the new police cir two rate policer as well ?? Or do we
use:

        bc = CIR * tc/1000
        
        be = ( AR - CIR ) * Tc/1000

Also, if the question does not specify a bc value , do we need to configure
the bc ??
