Brian and Lee,

In this same vein,

What is the best IOS to run for the 2500 series? My lab is all cheaper
equipment (except those switches!)

2501 2501 2503 2509 2513 2514 2523

They are all 16/16, and running c2500-is-l.122-8.T.bin

Is there a better IOS for the 2500 series closer to the lab? Filename?

Thanks a lot.
Jeff

Lee,

I would recommend that you run the latest 12.2T Enterprise Basic
IOS on the 2600s. To see exactly what you are missing out of this
image, compare it to the same release of the Enterprise Plus feature set
of the 2600XMs or the 3640/3660. You can do this side-by-side
comparison using the Feature Navigator tool on CCO:
