Notice that your Byte Limit (the number of bytes that can be sent per
interval) is 3000 bytes, which is 24000/8. 24000 is the Bc that results
from the formula Bc= CIR * Tc (tc = 125 ms, or 1/8 of a second) in your
case.

So, it seems to me that you are in fact using the Bc defined by the formula,
but the show command is not reflecting this. I noticed the same output on
recent IOS. Not sure why the change. Perhaps related to the qos-autosense
feature?
