xmodem is not supported AFAIK on sup720 yet. I think there may be
plans for it. So booting from compact flash or IBM drive is the way to
go. xmodem is legacy and i think nowadays there is no excuse for not
having a compact flash when you buy a sup720 in my humble opinion ;)
