In a multi-exit redistribution, which solution is the best to prevent route loops, TAG or distance? For OSPF, I can define a route-map to permit or deny some route from certain routers. The ISIS, as you see, has no tag in the update packet, I can not make a route-map to deny the routes learned via ISIS and originated by OSPF on the other exit point. The only way I can do is use the DISTANCE command, but it needs a lot of ACL to distinguish the ISIS external routes, the ISIS connected routes, etc.
So is EIGRP.
Any best solution for route loops between ospf and other?
