The issues are related only to the FTP part, as far as I know.
The only other free windows TFTP daemon I know of that does large files is
TFTPD32
It has no ftp, but offers syslog, dhcp, and ntp, and works very well albeit
a bit less fast than 3CDaemon (yes, I actually benchmarked them :-)
