PIX OS 7.0 now allows direct domain authentication, otherwise you will
need an external RADIUS or TACACS server.
NATIVE Integration with Popular User Authentication Services
Provides convenient method for authenticating VPN users through native
integration with popular authentication services, including Microsoft
Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Domains, Kerberos, Lightweight
Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), and RSA SecurID (without requiring a
separate RADIUS/TACACS+ server to act as an intermediary).
The PIX515E requires 64M of memory to support the new OS 7.0 and the new
Adaptive Security Device Manager GUI (ASDM). By default the 515E
shipped with 32M.

Subject: PIX Authentication
How can I force PIX 515E running (6.3 (3)) to authenticate users through
the
existing Windows 2000 running in Internal Network. As of now, when
users
establishes a tunnel through a VPN Client remotely, the tunnel
establishes
successfully, without any user/password box.
Thanks,
