3550's have what is called "private vlan edge" or "switchport protected".
That's been around a while, so that's certainly fair game.

IMHO there would probably be a waiting period for the lab to catch up with
the current release of software, but beyond that it may show up right away.
*shrug*

One never really knows what's inside the minds of those devious folks in the
CCIE department! ;) Since you're asking, you obviously have SOME
familiarity with private vlans. So just be prepared to find them on the
DocCD just in case you have them!

I'm not as clear about IOS versions on switches as I am on routers.

Anyone know if the private vlans feature is available on the 3550's yet? If
not is it likely to be? And if it does become available, does it become fair
game on the lab straight away, or should we get an announcement?
