Can any one explain following statement under ospf process ( I mean which interface will participate in which area.?)

router ospf 1
network 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 area 0
network 1.2.3.0 0.0.0.0 area 1
network 1.2.3.4 0.0.0.0 area 2
