David,
I'm 99% sure that you don't need to enable FRTS to use MQC. Actually, if I
recall correctly, you can't use both MQC and FRTS on the interface.
But, you can use MQC within a map-class.
IOW, this is no good.
int s0
encap fram
fram traffic-shape
service output NO-GOOD

But, this is OK
class-map GOOD
match blah blah
policy-map GOOD
class GOOD
<action>
map-class fram GOOD
service output GOOD
fram cir xxx
fram bc xx
etc
int s0
encap fram
fram traffic-shape
fram class GOOD

Subject: frame-relay & MQC
Hello,
Does anybody know if you can use a MQC service policy on a frame-relay
pvc without enabling FRTS?
Specifically for setting the DE bit.
Haven't scanned the archives so forgive me if it has been beaten to
death already.
Thx in advance,
David
