This was a problem I had early on in doing lab practice with workbooks. I
always tried to second guess the author and prove my solution was better. It
took me while to see they were only trying to teach the ins and outs of
every feature. Trust me, there is always a better way in your mind. The real
lab tends to limit you to not use that better (often easier) way.
