Don't forget, your equipment is pre-configured in some degree for you
before you even start typing. Unless you are told to delet a file, I
wouldn't, and like someone else posted, ALWAYS ask the proctor.

Why not ask the proctor to see if it is safe to delete anything? It is
far better to err on the side of caution.
Some of the lab devices are pre-staged with some configurations and if
yous tasks are configured correctly, they will need these pre-staged
configurations in order to present the complete picture that the proctor
who will be grading your work will be looking for.
