Folks,
In the real world, if we changed STP hello timer to be higher than default
value(2secs) especially in large switch network base. Do we have to be
concerned with others parameters like MAX againg, Listening and Learning
value?
As what I know, hello timer will be used from root bridge to keep sending
from root bridge for configuration BPDU and non-root bridge will use to keep
sending for topology change BPDU until it get acknowledge back. Which means
the port can wait longer while some parameter, let say MAX aging out will be
the same. Am i missing somthing? Any comment please?
