You don't get any redundancy if you prune them off the trunk (done with 
"switchport trunk allowed vlan").  I suggest manipulating the costs (or 
change the root switch) to accomplish the load balancing.
switch(config-if)#spanning-tree vlan 102 ?
   cost           Change an interface's per VLAN spanning tree path cost
   port-priority  Change an interface's spanning tree port priority
