Hi David,
Never give up!! Specially if you are that close and after spending so much
time and resources.
Even if the company is NOT behind the R&S, finish it on your own.
You may have to take some mock labs from one of these vendors where they
walk you thru the points you are missing.
Or, you may have to re-think your exam taking strategy (stress,
time management ...etc)
