John - You have to insure reachability to the peering address. So, you can do
it with standard routing protocols, static routes, or, which is usually the
case with eBGP...directly connected interfaces. HTH

univercd says eBGP doesn't peer if the only route to the loopback interface is
the default route (0.0.0.0).

But I have trouble to do iBGP too.

If I add a static route, they peer immediately.

Any idea ?
