Hello Group,
I'm relatively new entrant to this group. And while I was doing Lab-4 of IEWB, I got his doubt..
Is OSPF LSA Type-4 blocked by a Stub Area ABR or not ?
When LSA type-5 are not allowed inside a Stub area, then why would a router inside a Stub Area
need a LSA type-4 ? Shouldn't they be blocked as well ? Routers inside Stubby area can anyways use
the default LSA type-3 to get out to external destinations.
But IEWB Lab-4 solutions gives a table which shows LSA Type-4s are allowed inside a Stub Area. I'm
confused. Please help.
TIA,
Naveen.
