hi all:
what is the useage for the command "ip ospf database-filter all out"? I build a network like: R1(lo0 address: 11.11.11.11)----------R2(lo0 address: 22.22.22.22)--------R3(lo0 address 33.33.33.33),
r1:
router ospf 10
network 11.11.11.11 0.0.0.0 area 0
network 12.12.12.1 0.0.0.0 area 0
r2:
router ospf 10
network 22.22.22.22 0.0.0.0 area 0
network 12.12.12.2 0.0.0.0 area 0
network 23.23.23.2 0.0.0.0 area 10
under the interface with connected with r3, i configured:
ip ospf databased-filter all out
r3:
router ospf 10
network 33.33.33.33 0.0.0.0 area 10
network 23.23.23.3 0.0.0.0 area 10
but from r3, i still can see the "O IA" route record in the routing table. Then I checked the CCO, it says that the comand is used for "Block LSA Flooding". what does "Block LSA Flooding" mean? when we need use that command in real life?
