Sami,
try to see output of "sh policy-map int" for these policy maps and you will
notice default-map maching any traffic and class-map you created will match
all traffic.
So watch the wording!!

Tony

Group,
Is there any diffrence between if I use default class or create a class and
say match any ? task say rate limit incoming traffic to 192K.
Could some explain when to use class-default and when to use match any. what
I understand both are same but still clarify from the QoS gurus which option
to use in exam to get the points.
R5#show class-map
Class Map match-any class-default (id 0)
Match any
Class Map match-all R5 (id 2)
Match any
R5#show policy-map
Policy Map TEST
Class class-default
police cir 192000 bc 6000
conform-action set-prec-transmit 2
exceed-action set-prec-transmit 0
R5#show policy-map
Policy Map TEST1
Class R5
police cir 192000 bc 6000
conform-action set-prec-transmit 2
exceed-action set-prec-transmit 0
Thanks
