Group,
This is anycast RP/MSDP question but not directly related to exam. There are
lot of multicast guru's out there , just want to know there opinion if this
is possible or not.
Is there any way to detect the multicast source failure( physical connection
is up but there is no real data)and switch to other source. I know if there
is a physcial failure other souce will become active but here physical
connection is up but real data is lost. Any mechanism in router which keep
on polling the source , if it doesn't recive data it declare the souce down
and switch to other source.
