Hi Folks !
Ive this issue in Lab 19 of IE Labs !!! Its somethin like this $$ SEE IMAGE
ATTACHED $$
ive R6 / R5 and SW2 all in OSPF Area 568 !
1. R5 e0/0 is a Ethernet Port
2. R6 fa0/0 is a FastEthernet Port
and so is SW2 : VLAN 568 !!!!!
All 3 of em have been made converted from B/C to NON B/C by the command IP
OSPF NETWORK NON-BC !!!
Now R6 can ping N/Ws in SW2 but cannot ping N/ws beyong R5 and N/ws beyond
R5 cant ping / reach N/ws connected or advertised by R6 !!! I guess uve got
the picture !!!
Wat cud be the reason n the soln ?
Does R5 being a E0/0 ie an interface cost of OSPF 10 have anything to
do with it ?
Also the Loopbacks as well as COnnected n/ws have been redistributed too
into OSPF 568 !
thank u !
