Make sure that you've got your idlepc settings configured - it makes a
significant difference, but that said, my windows laptop of something
similar in spec to yours doesn't run very many.
I have an iMAC at home which will run significantly more - pretty much
a full IE rack - but that's a dual core with a couple of GB of RAM so
a higher spec all round.
