I think NAC 802.1X is just an agenda. Maybe reauthentication code was developed
under their NAC project.
At the beginning, when aaa only supports "aaa authentication default local",
it didn't look much different from just "login local" with an addition of
configurable prompt. But it was given a new term.
On my windows XP laptop, I can't find EAP-FAST. I am going to assume I only
need to learn EAP-MD5 just to verity my dot1x config works in the 3550.
I am not on security track. I barely set up a certificate authority once before.
