Subject: Re: shaping and FR
Hi Obi,
In case of FR traffic shaping, we generally give the service policy to the FR
interface in order to impact all the traffic for that interface and in turn
will impact all traffic for all DLCIs attached .
BUT, in case you have ,say, 3 DLCI for which you would like to use different
shaping values for different DLCIs then we attached the service policy to the
"interface-dlci" value rather than at interface level.

Hi,
When shaping and there a FR interface involved, does it matter whether
the service-policy is applied to the physical interface or a map-class
applied to the frame-relay interface-dlci?
Thankyou
