There's a shopping area called Brier Creek that has just about
everything. Pei Wei (pronounced Pee-Wee in NC), a sushi restaurant, a
steak place, a Japanese Habachi, Chili's, etc. all within walking
distance. The Wingate took me there for dinner and picked me up when I was
finished. I ate Sushi at Champa Thai and Sushi, and it was pretty good.
There's also a target, borders books, you name it.
Just stay at the Wingate, and they'll set you up. It's around $80
a night if you call them and ask for the cisco rate.

Atta,
A lot of folks like the Wingate hotel. I used it on a couple of my
(failed) attempts. The time I passed I paid more and stayed at the
Sheraton RTP (www.sheratonrtp.com). You have spent thousands of
dollars and hundreds of hours preparing for the lab. Why risk that by
trying to save a $100? Spend what you need to spend in order to make
sure you are well-rested and in a good frame of mind.
Just my 2 cents!
