Hello,

I don't believe that the shape maximum buffers command has any correlations to the frame relay adaptive-shaping interface-congestion command. It only specifies the maximum number of buffers allowed for the shaping queue. No shaping adaptive function, while the frame relay adaptive-shaping interface-congestion command triggers the shaping adaptive function when the threshold is reached.

Also, I believe that the shape adaptive command triggers adaptive shaping functions when BECN are received and operates independently from the shape maximum buffers command
