I tended to scream a lot during my practice and eventual lab attempts!

Just kidding.

I actually would do the same as you are describing here while
practicing.

At RTP - you might be right next to another candidate - there will be a
little divider separating your desk and his or hers. So yes - they would
hear you talking and it would be quite distracting for them.

I trained myself not to talk out loud as I configured for the actual lab
environment. I would suggest you do the same...

P.S. During one of my lab attempts, the guy next to me kept cursing at
various times. I was not distracted by it really, I found it more
humorous than anything else. He left the lab after lunch and never
returned.

As I'm going through these IPExpert labs I find myself talking out loud
to
help me concentrate. When I take the lab exam in San Jose, would I not
be
allow to speak? Is the proximity to the other candidates close enough
to
where this would be distracting? Thanks.

Curtis
