Hello GS. Very stupid question. If let's say I have a typical
multipoint frame relay network that only uses physical interfaces and
all IP mapping are configured without the broadcast keyword. Is there a
way to send regular multicast traffic over these links. When I debug
packets and I see PIM trying to establish neighbor relationships, I get
encapsulation failed in a packet. I couldn't find anything in the
documentation and the easiest workaround is to create tunnels, but I am
wondering if there is anything that I missed. For the sake of
experiment I even added map statements, but that would be kind of
pointless on an interface with multiple PVC and a rather insane way to
establish neighbors. So any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
