Hi Group,
what does 'Vlan traffic requested of neighbor' in the output of the command?
Rack1SW2#show interfaces f1/0/13 pruning
Port Vlans pruned for lack of request by neighbor
Fa1/0/13 36,88,258
Port Vlan traffic requested of neighbor
Fa1/0/13 1,8,12,36,43,45,88,255,258
1) neighbor attached to f11/0/13 wants the local switch to forward traffic for
those vlans: it cannot be because vlan 88 is pruned for that neighbor
2) local switch requests neighbor attached to f11/0/13 to forward traffic for
those vlans: not possible because neighbor has also a 'int vlan 7' defined
which is not in the list.
3) what does it really mean?
Thanks,
Luca.
