Quite simply...
Balanced means that EIGRP will balance across the links in proportion to
their metrics.
Min means that EIGRP will balance based on the minimum cost path to that
particular route. This method is not really load balancing, but it
significantly reduces convergence time if you drop a link since the paths
are already in the routing table.
