Hello all,

1- A bit confused about the keyward "remote" in the snmp-server user command, if it is the IP address of the remote
user, why we use an access-list as well?, When to use the remote-engine ID?

2-The question is saying that the NMS will be used mainly for polling, and it will expect to receive traps as well using same username and password combination for authentication!..
In the answers, i found the keyward "priv" used in the "snmp-server host" command although this ward is used for encryption!!
3- "snmp-server host "ip address" version 3 priv IELABUSER", does this mean that the traps will be sent to the NMS using the username and passwords created by the snmp-server user command?
  Waiting for your feedback...

  Regards,
  AAli...
