Hello,
I have a IDS 4235, and after the reimaging using a CD, the interface was
renamed from eth0 to gi0/0 (Com&Control) and from eth1 to gi0/1. Inside the
Shell using a service account I am just seeing the go0/1:
bash-2.05b# ifconfig
ge0_1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:0F:1F:65:8C:8C
          inet addr:200.48.241.119 Bcast:200.48.241.127
Mask:255.255.255.128
          UP BROADCAST MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:252 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:292 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
          RX bytes:25490 (24.8 KiB) TX bytes:276956 (270.4 KiB)
          Base address:0xdcc0 Memory:feb20000-feb40000
lo Link encap:Local Loopback
          inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.255.255.255
          UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1
          RX packets:4 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:4 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:0
          RX bytes:308 (308.0 B) TX bytes:308 (308.0 B)
-bash-2.05b#
So Finally I have a 4235 with just two interfaces, my question is, in a real
lab, the IPS has more than one for sensing, if not we would be able to set a
inline IPS. Please let me know,
Thanks
