Also, Windows in not really an optimum platform for a full IEWB
topology.  It can be done with the kind of HW you're talking about, but
it will be hogging your CPU for sure...

  In regards to your first issue you may try to have Dynagen determine
  the
  best idle-pc value after the routers have booted up. You can do this
  by
  not setting the idle-pc value in your .net file but after the routers
  have
  booted up get on the Dynagen console and type "idlepc show <device>".
  Dynagen will now show you the "best" idlepc values. You can then
  select
  one to try and if it works you can save it by typing "idlepc save
  <device>
  default".
  We actually offer a version of our IEWB Vol 2 workbook specifically
  written for Dynamips. That being said you should be able to modify
  your
  existing labs to work in Dynamips with a little effort.
