Distribute-list prefix and Prefix-list for BGP

Dear all

I have some confuse about distributed-list prefix and prefix-list on BGP

How does the difference between "distribute-list prefix" on BGP and
"prefix-list with neighbor command". If I would like to do policy, such
as "configured bgp filter to accept only 51.x.x.x prefixes". So I can do
distribute-list prefix on BGP globally, it's same result if I want to
use this prefix-list for all neighbor, don't it?

Is it break NDA,? if I would like to ask that in real lab, the score is
based on result follow the questions, not based on commands which I use?
Pleas give me some advice. Thank you very much.
