Yes but this approach would have a draw-back if I'm not mistaken..

Your CCIE Written re-certifies (I think) all Associate,Professional level
certifications, having a separate CSCO ID would stop that from happening,
right?

Or perhaps they could later be merged, after joining the new company :)
