It will depend on what you have configured previously or what you still need
to configure. For example if you configure Dot1Q tunnels you need the switch
to have the MTU set to 1504 otherwise you might have issues when sending
packets with the maximum MTU.

If you do not need to have the MTU set to 1504 and the tasks do not mention
anything that prohibits the use of any command I would go with the ip ospf
mtu-ignore.
