Hi George

Without reading up on the topic, I would guess that DYNAMIC used that way
refers to a reserved keyword.

Subject: % Invalid access list name.

Hi,

When I create an extended name ACL I get this error message, but if I add
"_" the command is accepted. Has anyone experienced this?

Rack1R2(config)#

Rack1R2(config)#ip access-list extended DYNAMIC

%

% Invalid access list name.

Rack1R2(config)#

Rack1R2(config)#ip access-list extended DYNAMIC_

Rack1R2(config-ext-nacl)#

thanks,

george
