GB is gigabyte, bandwidth is 100 megabit. (8 bits in a byte)
Multiply your expected time by 8.

Hi,
there are many different linecards for the 6500 series. Which gigabit
linecard do you have? Have you got a switchfabric in the switch?
If you have 6148 or 6548 cards do not give the servers ports next to
each other. On some cards 8 or 12 ports share buffer and memory.
Greetings
Wilhelm
