I think it depends on what sector of the industry you want to work in. If
it's enterprise, the answer has to be security (what enterprise isn't
concerned with that?). If it's SP - building out very large networks and
getting your hands dirty with MPLS, etc - then probably SP would be most in
demand amongst the employers you would be cozying up to. Ideally you would
just do what you have a greater passion for and run with that. But
practically speaking, if you look at job reqs that are out there, security
and experience with PIX and ASA will probably outnumber MPLS and IS-IS
skills by about 100:1 or greater...
